Harvest Festival

This week we have been celebrating Harvest at St Thomas’. We have been learning about why Christians celebrate Harvest. To celebrate we had an outside worship area to receive Harvest donations for the local Loose Ends charity in Newbury. In Year R and Year 1 we celebrated our wonderful world and the good in it with our beautiful paintings of sunflowers and starry night inspired by Van Gough. The year 2’s created sunset silhouettes following on from their learning all about Uganda. Reverend Christine shared a special Harvest message with the children, which was very inspirational.
