KS1 children started their new learning challenge topic ‘What happened on the 2nd September 1666 that changed our lives today?’ with a dressing up day The children learnt about the history of the nursery rhyme, ‘London’s Burning’ and made their own melodies with instruments. In addition the children did some drama with dance and found out about the different occupations and roles of their class mates. We had bakers, maids, queens, kings and even Samuel Pepys. The Early Years children also started their Learning Challenge about People who help us with a dressing up day. The children came into school dressed as nurses, doctors, firefighters, vets and many other occupations.
